So in the game there are 3 types of cards they are:

The elements universal to each card are as follows:

1.7.1 Balloon cards

The creature cards of this game, When a Balloon is played from your hand, it stays on your field as an active unit that is able to attack and do many other things. balloons that are freshly inflated however start off stiff and cannot attack or be spent to use any of it's own written abilities. However if a balloon comes into the field over another card as an expansion, it comes in ready to attack!

When a Balloon card enters the field, it's Breath Cost becomes it's Base Size. Balloons have an additional stat called Limit, this indicates the number of breath tokens a balloon is able to hold. each breath token a balloon has increases it's effective size by +1, but if a balloon is made to hold more than it's limit in breath, the balloon immediately pops and is put into your discard.

1.7.2 Action cards

Action cards are cards that perform an effect once you pay their breath cost and play them, and then are immediately put into your discard pile after they resolve. Generally action cards are only playable during your turn, but actions with ⯁ IN BATTLE Effects and effects lead by a ⯁ bullet instead of a ⯀ Bullet can be played during an attack for those effects.

It's worth noting that effects lead by ⯁ bullet do not work when you aren't in the middle of an attack. so cards with only those effects can only be played during an attack. The reverse is also true where during an attack, only effects lead by a ⯁ bullet work. thus a card without those effects cannot be played during an attack.

1.7.3 Object cards

Object cards once played sit on your field just like balloons, except they cannot attack or block like balloons. objects are typically cheap and perform a number of helpful functions that either work passively, or must be triggered by spending the object or performing other game actions. Some objects are attachments that can be paid to attach to a balloon on your field, granting their effects to the attached balloon. if the balloon with an attachment leaves the field, the attachment falls off and remains on your field to be attached to another balloon.
