So this is the 4th iteration of an ongoing card game I've been developing. With the current direction taking heavy influence from the card games kaijudo and duel Masters.

This game first began as a deck building game more akin to something like dominion and Ascension, where players create a gallery of balloons to display at a convention to gain victory points. With each iteration the game became increasingly more confrontational, going from a deck building game to a more contemporary card game influenced by Lorcana, to becoming a full-on battle game that takes the bulk of its design cues from dual Masters and kaijudo.

This gradual evolution has been spurred on by two main desires, to increase player interaction and a decrease mechanical cruft.

Plain and simple, I wanted a game about balloons and balloon creatures but also I wanted to make a game where you throw cards down and turn dudes sideways. Where things are always happening and players aren't just sitting around for long periods of times waiting to take action.

I also wanted this game to be kind of sleek and compact, easy to pull out and play short games with either on tabletop simulator or in person if cards are printed out personally.
